Tom Ford is fast becoming, if not already, a fashion icon. Starting in the women's ready-to-wear depertment at Gucci in 1990, he's been Creative Director of Gucci, Creative Director of YSL and started his own label, which encompasses, menswear, sunglasses, accessories and fragrances.
As if taking over the fashion world wasnt enough, Ford is now undertaking a whole different challenge. His first feature film, "A single man" stars Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, two masterful actors. The film opened to critical acclaim at the Venice Film Festival, with First winning the award for best actor, and Moore being nominated for best supporting actor.
There is no reason to believe that Ford won't be a shining light in the world of fashion, cinema and design for the mean man, well into this 21st century.
